Our Programs

Early Childhood

The Montessori Early Childhood curriculum for children ages three to six years old gives children the opportunity to build their self-confidence, focus, and self-identity through practical life, academic work and social and emotional experience. At the Early Childhood level, the teaching of peace, social justice, and global citizenship is based on fostering respect for all people and living things, and helping children learn the tools for peaceful conflict resolution.

Elementary

The Montessori Elementary Curriculum for children ages six to twelve years old gives children the opportunity to engage in an individually paced curriculum that challenges students academically and safeguards their well-being and sense of self. Engaging as contributing members of a respectful community, they learn to question, think critically, and take responsibility for their own learning—skills that will support them in later education and in life.

Friday Half Days

At Pinyon Montessori, we prioritize a well-rounded educational experience for our students. As part of this commitment, we have designated Fridays as half days, running from 8:45 am to 12:30 pm. This valuable time allows our dedicated teacher leaders to focus on essential administrative work and classroom preparation, ensuring a nurturing and enriching environment for your child.

To accommodate the needs of working parents, we are pleased to offer an optional Friday care program.  For an annual fee, your child can participate in supervised activities during the extended hours beyond the half-day schedule.
