Celebrating the Hearts Behind Pinyon: Teacher Appreciation Week

Disclaimer! "Writing about ourselves is always the hardest part, but after just wrapping up our annual Self-Reflection for the Board, we’re pausing to celebrate the dedication that drives our teacher-led school." Margaret & Brandi

At our school, "teacher" means so much more than a job title—it’s the heart and soul that builds our community every day. This Teacher Appreciation Week, we’re

proud to celebrate our co-founders, Brandi Allen and Margaret Mc Donald.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

Brandi Allen: Guiding the Way for Elementary Students

As our Elementary Lead, Brandi brings our educational vision to life. She combines the Montessori method with contemporary neuroscience to support every child’s natural curiosity. She has dedicated her career to advancing educational equity, and her passion for the transformative potential of the Montessori method helps our students grow into people who can change the world for the better.

Margaret Mc Donald: Helping Little Ones Grow

Margaret leads our Early Childhood program with an eye on creating calm, peaceful spaces for self-directed learning. Her love for the Montessori method helps our youngest students find their focus and discover a true joy for learning. She also keeps our school running smoothly, making sure we stay true to our mission of providing a high-quality, equitable experience for our families.

Together, they lead our non-profit school with strength and heart, always keeping the families we serve at the center of everything they do.

Brandi and Margaret show us just how much a community can thrive when teachers are in charge. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!
