We're feeling so grateful and inspired by the incredible ways our Pinyon community comes together! It's the diverse talents and generous contributions of our families, friends, and community partners that truly make our school a unique and special place. We wanted to take a moment to shine a spotlight on some recent enriching experiences our students have enjoyed, thanks to these wonderful connections:
Our upper elementary students had the amazing opportunity to immerse themselves in the beauty of symphonic music at the equally beautiful Abravanel Hall with a special Utah Symphony performance. What a cultural treat!
The Science Alliance, a bright group of students from Skyline High School, visited us to deliver a fascinating and hands-on presentation on chemistry. They really sparked some serious scientific curiosity among our learners!
We were honored to welcome Dr. Carpenter, who shared some insightful knowledge about the human heart with our students. It's not every day you get to learn from an expert like that!
Brigette Kruitbosch brought a creative and artistic flair to Pinyon, demonstrating the art of makeup and even providing materials for our students to explore their own creativity. Such a fun and engaging experience!
And last but certainly not least, we were thrilled to host Willow the Wisp, a local drag queen, who shared the artistry and history of drag with our students. It was a wonderful opportunity for learning and open-mindedness.
Thank you to everyone who shares their time, talents, and passions with us and making Pinyon an enriching and dynamic learning environment. It truly makes all the difference!
